Our Issue
Phase One of South Shore Place was the remodel of the former Sheraton Braintree. The new Hyatt Place Hotel is scheduled to open shortly. Fair wages and benefits where paid to the workers on this project.
Phase Two of this project is 49,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Carpenter & Company, Inc has contracted Tishman Construction as the general contractor who in turn has decided to cut wages and benefits for the workers at the South Shore Shops. These workers are the Citizens of Massachusetts who are not working for fair wages and benefits!
